Before you start
Sign in with a role that can access this feature. If the section is missing, ask the owner to check your user permissions.
Step by step
- Prepare the order and review the subtotal.
- In mobile checkout, choose a fixed or percentage discount when applicable.
- In supported reader payments, the client selects a suggested tip, a custom amount or no tip.
- Review the total before charging.
Usage details
Options depend on device and method. Not every flow offers tipping or the same discount editor. Automatic tip distribution and payroll are not included.
